We are looking for a new customer service/order desk representative for our office in North Vancouver.
We are in need of an experienced customer service/order desk representative to join our head office team. The ideal candidate will be energetic, have a great phone manner, strong computer skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a very fast paced environment. We are looking for a team player with excellent inter-personal and communication skills and capable of interacting well with various customers, sales reps and co-workers. At least two years relevant post-secondary education and prior work experience in a similar environment are required. Excellent verbal and written English skills are a must. Experience with QuickBooks or a similar accounting package as well as proficient use of Excel required. Competitive salary and benefits offered.
Ø Communicating effectively with customers on the telephone and via email
Ø Answering customer calls, emails and faxes
Ø Monitoring inventory at several locations across Canada and parts of the USA
Ø Processing large volumes of product orders, transfers and returns
Ø Receiving payment from customers via. credit cards and cheques
Ø Creating and issuing Invoices to customers
Ø Creating and issuing Credit Memos
Ø Monitoring online tracking systems for products at various locations
Ø Maintaining strong relationships with warehouse staff and coordinating ordersØ
Ø Entering new customers into QuickBooks and updating various data
Ø Assisting other staff when needed, and maintaining a “team approach” at all times
Ø Various other tasks as necessary
